I was really pleased to be asked by Linnart Felkl to write an article for Supply Chain Data Analytics about my experience of using Manufacturing Simulation to support plant design.
When you have the opportunity to design a new plant from scratch you need to make the most of it. This is where Manufacturing Simulation is such a great tool. You can bring your designs to life and check every element of the plant to ensure it is as efficient, effective and robust as possible. It is frustrating to find better ways to do things after the plant is build and where changes become expensive.
